Jurgensfontein Farm is a beautiful Ceres-Karoo farm just 50km outside Ceres en route to Sutherland and 200km from Cape Town.  Jurgensfontein farm area extends across 3600 hectares of wide Ceres-Karoo plains and rocky mountainous ridges. 

Come and enjoy the relaxing Ceres-Karoo with breathtaking views of open veld and fresh clear air.  Take in the sounds of the amazing bird life and wild animals and get lost in beauty of the stars in the open milky night skies.

• 3 Bedrooms – Sleep 6 people
• Inside and outside braai with braai grid and tools
• Bedding and towels supplied
• Wood: bring your own.
• Solar power is used to generate lights and fridge
• Gas geyser and hot water
• Gas stove (no oven)
• No kettles, hairdryers or any other electrical equipment may be used.
• Please use hot and cold water sparingly due to the Ceres-Karoo being a water scares area.

Rates

• 2 people: R600 per night
• R300 pp extra (max R1500)
• Weekends minimum 2 nights
• High Season & Long weekends (Minimum 3 days): R1800 per day for house (6 people max)

Activities @ Jurgensfontein Farm

The farm offers a wide variety of activities to choose from which include hiking, mountain biking, rock art, bird watching.  

While enjoying our nature filled mountain bike and hiking routes, with a little luck and quietness you may catch sight of some wildlife incl Rooikat (Caracal), Jackal, Steenbok, Gemsbok (Oryx), Koedoe (Kudu), Eland, Rabbits, Grey Reebuck (Vaal Ribbok), Rock Hyrax (Dassies), Duikers, Klipspringer, and a wide array of birds.

Inverdoorn Game Reserve is just 10km away and Aquila Game Reserve (Big 5) is 40km away.
