All roads lead through Colesberg, as it is located in the centre of South Africa. Enjoy true Karoo hospitality in this charming town where The Horse and Mill is the perfect haven for weary, hungry, and thirsty travellers.

The guest house is situated in the centre of Colesberg, in a quiet one-way street which runs parallel to the main road.

The adjacent English-style Horse and Mill Pub and Restaurant is a beautifully restored coach house, built in 1840. Here you can quench your thirst with pint draft and feast on a wide variety of dishes in our restaurant. Karoo lamb dishes are our speciality.

Horse & Mill Accommodation in Colesberg

Accommodation is available in a variety of units, accommodating single travellers, couples, friends, business executives and families. 

There are smaller rooms with double beds and bigger rooms with queen beds and single beds. 

We also have two big units consisting out of two bedrooms and one bathroom for large families. 

All rooms come equipped with comfortable beds, and en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, air-conditioning, and tea-and-coffee-making facilities.

Other in-room facilities include TV wirth DStv, Wi-Fi, Microwave and bar fridge.

At reception there is freezing facilities for lager amounts of frozen stuff.

On-site facilities include secure parking. 

There are also 2 restaurants, English-style Horse and Mill Pub & Restaurant and Allards Bisto and Grill on the premises. 

Innie Kraal, Bordeaux and Plattelander Restaurants are within walking distance from the Horse and Mill Guesthouse.

We thank you for not smoking in the buildings and for respecting other guests. Ashtrays are provided on the tables outside for this purpose.
